Yoga for Transitions {ONLINE}

As humans, we experience intense emotions and sensations around significant life events, transitions, and losses. In our westernized, individualized world, we often feel isolated during times of transition and are taught to expect sameness rather than embracing change. We invite you to join us for a gentle, affirming yoga and reflection practice co-led by two people that have had to learn the art of embracing transition, Room to Breathe yoga teacher and therapist, Hannah, and therapist, Margy.

This virtual event will combine movement with moments for reflection and journaling around the following themes: identifying emotions during times of transition; normalizing that transitions are hard and emphasizing to build safety; and embracing change and duality rather than clinging to the desire for life to stay the same.

We encourage you to come as you are, take what’s useful, leave the rest, and enjoy connection with a community of people also living in our changing world; no prior experience with yoga needed! Prompts for chair yoga will be provided. Recording will be available for 30 days for registrants unable to join in real time.
