Whitney Pasch, Yoga Therapist (C-IAYT, E-RYT500, YACEP)
Whitney Pasch is a registered yoga teacher, certified Yoga of the Heart® teacher, and certified yoga therapist. She has been practicing yoga since 2008 and teaching since 2012, and she completed Inner Peace Yoga Therapy's 800-hour training in January 2018. Whitney was initially drawn to yoga to maintain strength, mobility, and mental clarity following a running injury. Years later, she decided to pursue yoga therapy after herniating L5-S1, an injury that prevented her from running and practicing vinyasa yoga, both activities that brought her great joy. That injury caused an anxiety disorder to resurface, along with persistent sacral pain. Whitney now approaches teaching through a therapeutic lens; she takes into account each student's abilities, current conditions, and goals. Her public classes are gentle but strong, and they emphasize breath awareness, safe alignment, and a compassionate mind-body relationship. She specializes in helping people with back pain and anxiety/depression, but also sees clients with various issues including Parkinson's Disease and cancer. Whitney offers group classes, individual therapy sessions, and workshops, and she assists teacher trainings with Inner Peace Yoga Therapy. Outside of yoga, her passions include cats and the Green Bay Packers.
