Yoga teacher

Lauren is a recent graduate of Room to Breathe’s 250 Hour Psychologically Sensitive Teacher Training. She strives to help everyone come home to their own body through gentle movement, meditation, and rest. She believes that yoga should be accessible to all bodies, and loves to offer modifications and options to accommodate each student’s body as it is that day.

Lauren is a Chicagoland native, and lives in the city with her partner and two cats. She came to yoga in a high school gym class, but developed a more personal, consistent practice in her twenties. She has found it to be an important part of managing her physical and mental health, and staying present and connected to her body. Lauren also enjoys reading, crafting, supporting her community, and trying every soft pretzel in the city.
