Kristina Fyrwald, LSW

Kristina is especially passionate about integrating somatic practices into her work, deepening clients' understanding of the connection between their mind and body. She enjoys helping her clients learn new skills tailored uniquely to them so they are able to more smoothly move through various stressors in their lives. She also utilizes a combination of Mindfulness- Based Cognitive Therapy and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy.

Kristina’s approach to therapy is extremely collaborative. She lets her clients lead with their goals for therapy and offers support, tools and insights into different behavioral patterns. Kristina’s ultimate goal is for clients to live their healthiest, happiest, most connected lives- whatever that means to them!

Kristina is a Licensed Social Worker and a graduate from the University of Southern California. There, she earned her Master of Social Work with specialized training from The Department of Children, Youth and Families. Kristina has experience working with adolescents and adults facing a wide range of challenges including substance abuse, trauma, anxiety, depression, chronic pain/illness and relationship issues. She is passionate about helping clients tap into their deep, inner resilience and reconnect to the most authentic parts of themselves in order to heal.
