Yoga for the Trauma Survivor


This weekly drop-in class focuses on restoring serenity in the body, mind and spirit of any person who may have experienced Trauma either personally or vicariously. Class themes, postures, meditations and breath practices will be trauma informed and specific to the needs of trauma survivors. The range of personal experiences and what constitutes trauma is quite broad, but at it's core trauma can be described as a deeply distressing or disturbing experience, or physical injury.

There are no requirements to attend this class; it is open to all who are interested or anyone simply seeking a gentle yoga practice.
