Terri Mandell, Yoga Teacher


Terri completed 200-hour teacher training at Shoshoni Ashram above Boulder, Colorado in 2014, and advanced teacher training at Room to Breathe Chicago in 2018. The study included asana, pranayama, meditation, teaching methods, yogic philosophy, anatomy and Sanskrit.

Terri began practicing yoga years ago as a form of exercise.  It has evolved into so much more. For her, yoga is a journey from the inside out.  It helps align the human body in a way that promotes calmness, physical movement, emotional strength all leading to a healthy body and calm mind.  Yoga's ultimate gift has been the ease, balance and inner quiet that helps us see into the very heart of life.

Yoga changed Terri’s life and brought her joy and balance. Grateful for the practice of yoga and her passion about sharing the ideas and traditions are the reasons Terri began teaching.  Her classes combine movement with breath and facilitate understanding of the body and a way to use the breath to expand awareness.
