We will use yoga as a tool to ease back pain and discomfort, and take preventative measures in maintaining a healthy back.
This series will include a digestible lecture/discussion about the anatomy of the spine and possible causes of back pain, followed by a meditation and gentle flow specifically tailored to become more aware of the sensations that arise in the lower back and find ways to address and combat pain.
During the series you will:
- learn different approaches in managing pain when having an episode
- understand simple preventative techniques to foster a healthy back
- analyze and bring more awareness to personal habitual patterns
- enhance your yoga practice by understanding the anatomy of the spine
