A six-week series with Kathleen Katsikeas
The healing journey after sexual trauma requires compassion, understanding, and patience with self. This 6-week yoga course is focused on beginning or continuing the healing process in a new way. Using breath work, gentle movement, and mediation in a trauma-focused space can help to center and balance. With a new theme each week, we'll move and connect with our bodies, supporting the healing practice of yoga and cultivated inner-awareness.
Classes are an hour and 30 minutes: 60 minute trauma-focused yoga class and 30 minutes of peer-supported sharing.
This 6-week program is limited to 5-7 people. This is in conjunction with an ongoing research study at R2B. Participation in research is voluntary.
