In this special yoga session, you'll discover the ways that yoga can enhance athletic performance. You'll move through a two-hour yoga practice to address the tight hips, hamstrings, and shoulders that many athletes experience as the result of years of running, cycling or swimming. Breath techniques (pranayama) will be included to help athletes learn to remain focused and present during their workouts, which is especially useful in endurance events. Students will learn yoga poses to integrate into a post-workout stretch, as well as how to modify poses for their individual needs.
