Are you interested in learning ways to detox your digestive system after the Holidays?
Our tummies are one of the most sensitive areas of our bodies. They are at the center of our being, literally our “core”, and lined with hundreds of millions of nerve
endings, affecting everything from our immune system to mood. Many factors influence the health of our digestive system, from our external environment, to our internal stress.
Renee Zambo, registered yoga therapist, will lead participants through yoga
therapy techniques for detoxifying the digestive system. This will include a series of
cleansing breathing techniques, postures to gently massage and stimulate the muscles of
the gastrointestinal system, and a mindful eating or drinking exercise to further explore
our relationship to food and digestion.
