Erica completed her 200-hour training at Reach Yoga in conjunction with Nature Yoga in 2015.  She is a firm believer in the mind-body connection, how what soothes our bodies soothes our minds and vice versa. Her work with people with cancer inspired her to explore ways of supporting people to connect with and work through feelings with their bodies including yoga and Reiki (energy healing).

Erica’s classes provide students a safe and playful space to practice mindful movement and breathing to calm their minds and bodies. She utilizes this principles in therapy as well, having been trained in Yoga-Informed Psychotherapy through Live Oak (2016).

As a Reiki practitioner, she uses gentle touch to facilitate relaxation and emotional release. Reiki is a body-based stress reduction technique from Japan that uses gentle touch to balance energy.
